I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Kia Ora Dani,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Hazel and I am one of the people who will be blogging with you this summer. I see you've made a great start to the Summer Learning Journey. Well done!
I like that you used a proper letter format to write your post.
I imagine I would also be very nervous if I had been on one of the first waka travelling to NZ. What do you think would have been the most challenging thing for people who were moving to a new land? What supplies might they have had to take with them?
I can't wait to read more of your posts soon.
Hazel :)
Morena Dani.
ReplyDeleteClare here again from the Summer Learning Journey. Its really great to see all the work you have been putting in to work through the SLJ tasks.
I like how you mentioned that you saw lots of Sea creatures while you were travelling to NZ and what it was like.
How do you think you would feel leaving all your friends and family and go to live in another country? I know for myself I would be very excited but also really sad that I was going to really miss them all and want to go home maybe? How about you?
You still have some time to get some more tasks completed before school starts back again so Ill come by again soon and see how you are getting along. Don't forget to comment below to get more points.
