Hi bloggers I will explain some stuff but the first thing ill tell you what about it is about nature and how will survive.

The nature guide

• Eat healthy like eating berries and eating apples.

• Making shelter to stop rain and stop you from sleeping on the ground.

• Swimming water will help you get more fit.

• Climbing trees to stay strong and fit for something.

• make spears or any other gear to get your food to stay healthy.

If I play had a goal and turn it into a game what will it be?

It will be to be good at dodging and I can turn it into a game of game of dodge ball because you need a lot of skill to play it and  it is very fun.

Wycola park because all my friends go their.
 I can go for walks with family its is really nice to go on walks.

Why do I like my family?
Because they are the main thing in life and they look after you it the best family I could have to be honest.

Our new buildings

Hi bloggers today at hornby we got a new building.
It is called Kahui-Tieke it is quite a building and quite big to.

The first thing I saw was Chairs lying around  it was not that thrilling I liked the old class room better but I can deal with it. why were we going in class room that wasn't finished that seems like a danger hazard to  me.

What had I thought about this new class room i'm staying in? I thought it  was not to flash theirs not that much color it cost  27 million and there is no heating system accept the on in the floor it doesn't heat up that well I can live with it though.

When I walked in the building I felt? excited to see what it was going to look like. then It just felt very plain to others they enjoyed it not o much on my I felt that could put more design in it. or more detail in the walls. the walls were plain white on some then the rest had sound proof walls and some had wood.

That is all I got to mind I hope this was helpful to describe this new area and hope we get more stuff to make it wow this was pretty easy work knowing I had to think about what I had to do and That is all my work hope you enjoy :)

 

My Investigation Climate change

Intensification

Meaning: is the start of this acid process. that lots of carbon in the  atmosphere turns this into acid which is bad for the ocean.

What is happening to the oceans and why?

• when carbon dioxide goes into the water  the water has reacted to this which badly affect sea creatures.
• The water in the ocean has absorb a lot of carbon dioxide which can slowly kill fish  or crabs any water animal.

What does this do to shell fish

• The problem begins with the atmosphere.It dissolves in the water which creates carbonic acid that transforms rapidly which kills shell fish with it.
• The shell fish body has slowly dies which get rid  of a living thing that can be important.

How does the ocean affect climate change

It sucks carbon dioxide which affects the ocean and turns it into acid which affects shell fish

The definition of deforest station.
It means that the more trees we cut down the less oxygen we get and we slowly get more furniture and loss lots of trees.

ICE CAP MELT

DEFINITION:

If all the ice melted what would happen?

The sea animals might die  if the arctic melts because it will put normal fresh water in sea water which kill sea water animals.

HOW DOES ICE CAP MELT AFFECT CLIMATE CHANGE?

It will release fresh water which  goes in the ocean which can  kill and  raise the sea level so  2M people could die.

Science

How do we work in this laboratory?

1. Beginning and End of class: Lining up, Entry, Seating, 
2. Equipment tray: equipment list and details.

                       Equipment

• Test tube used for testing chemicals
• Conical Flask used to look at liquid and pour more things into it
• Glass Stirring rod used to stir
• Test tube tongs used to grab stuff without hands
• Spatula used like a normal one but for science
• Funnel used to pour liquid without a spill
• Measuring Cylinder used  to measure items

Laser work

Hi bloggers at laser work I did a pen and a light with pictures.
this pen look cool and I really want to do this again I had loved this because.
It was like wood tec and I love doing stuff that means I get to design it myself.
What I could of worked on is be more faster and curve better.
Why did I make a pen because I was assign to do it and it was very fun doing it.
my light that had picture on it was alright have not finished it and I want to so bad cause
it is so cool I will probably put it in my room because it will suit I will put it on top my my desk.

Hi bloggers today I did a drawing on recycle pens.
I  got given questions to answer here they are.
1. how to spread this message to the community. put this on face book page or message communities.
2.who will be apart of this? all of hornby high year 7&8 and juniors.
3.how many kg do I think i'l get?  about 18 kg's if other people donate that don't go to this school.
4.what will  we do with the money? we will pay for mega air trips and the sports teams.

Solar energy

Aim:
Hypothesis.

What one attracts the most heat? and why

Black: I think black will attract the most because black adsorbs sun light.

white:the less chance  of getting sunlight cause its white and not the same as black.

silver:silver is like black but won't attract as much sun light as black does.

Hypothesis:

Materials:

1. piece of white paper x1
2.  white cup x1
3.  piece of black plastic x1
4.  cup x1
5.  plastic cup x1
6. Tinfoil x1
7. Thermometer x1
8. heat lamp

Steps

1. set up heat lamp at power point.
2. have a cup and wrap tinfoil around it. 
3.  grab a cup and black plastic.
4.  wrap plastic around cup.
5. face lamp towards cups.
6. grab water and put it in cups.
7. check every 15 minutes.
8. enjoy the findings you get.

Findings:

Ella west

Hi bloggers today I met Ella west at hornby high! She was very nice she has published a book called night vision. its about a little girl who cant go near light so she wears a hat that looks like bee hive mask. Ella got inspired by this girl so she did a story about her it is action mystery theme about neighbor getting killed. car goes on fire and  she hides in the bushes because of the light and the murder. I don't want to spoiler it so buy the book yourself.

Facts about Ella west:

• She had lived on a farm.

• she cant win new Zealand awards cause it says she is in Australia. Which means she goes against diary of the wimpy kid.

• Ella west is a New Zealander.

• She had won a award at 2015.

• The government takes most of the money she earns from her books!

Drama

Hi bloggers today I did some work on my puppet from drama.
I lost my old puppet  which was a evil cat it had a top hat.
My new puppet is a alien robot that looks nice but it is very evil.
it loves hand and is a little cool not my favorite my cat was my favorite.
this is my puppet he is interesting he likes playing talking and fun.
I will upload my puppet show to my blog soon and enjoy this.

The Green house affect

Materials

1. Plastic bottle
2. 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda and Citric Acid
3. 1 heat lamp
4. 1 Thermometer
5. 100 ml water
6. 1 rubber bung

Procedure

1.collect 2 bottles, 2 lamps and 2 Thermometers from teacher.

2. set up  bottles and lamps beside a power point on  a flat surface.

3.Pour 100ml water and Baking soda mixture into one of the bottles.

4. Start to record your findings These must be every 5 minutes.

Hi bloggers you may of heard of the all blacks if you have great hornby high is sending the all blacks letters to help them up there game and t show that we don't care if they win or fail to win as long as they put effort in there games and help not just there team but help people in need. We will always be there for the all blacks and we will  help the all blacks and inspire them to do good for new Zealand.

Elder daycare

Hi bloggers today I went to the elder day care. The people there were really nice we had biscuits and juice  I really like the game they made us play this game were called clap stomp then putting hands in the air. We  had some chats about family what they like and what child hood was like it was very awkward cause I'm not the best around new people. I really like how they were nice and calm. I really like how they don't care about what was happening around them they listen to what your saying. That is it BYE  bloggers :)

Issues of Climate Change

Aim: To learn about
the different activities that
contribute to climate change.

1.Industry Buildings can have chimneys which produce smoke  which goes into the air.

2.Transport Car,Trucks use fossil fuel When they start the car the Gas starts going out into the atmosphere.

3.Waste  Is rubbish which can go in water which kill fish and other sea animals.

4.Cows Create a greenhouse.Gas called methane when they burp or fart.

5.Food people need meat to live you have to have it so animal  population.

6.Electricity Electricity uses energy from home and can be renewable.
