The cay

 Hello, bloggers today I have done some work on a book called the cay I had to replace the front of the book with my own version of it.                                                  This was a fun task but a little weird to do.                                                                     My favorite part was making the cover because I made it look stupid and funny.        I hope you like my blog post-bye.

Cow Eye-Physics

Hello, bloggers today in physics I have dissected a cows eye we were learning about parts of the eyes and what it does like how the pupil works by opening up letting light come through and reflect off it and the cornea works by focusing light into the iris to get that perfect reflection. what we had to do was cut the eye out and examine it as our teacher explains what each part of the eye does it was a fun experience and I enjoyed learning about it. I like how in the eye is there this blue liquid caused by removing this black sludge and how we had to poke a hole into and let all this liquid out. My favorite part was cutting all the fat off the eye and poking a hole into the iris causing the liquid to flow out it was like water with little black parts init it was yuck and felt weird. hello, bloggers today I have done some work on the cay which is a book we are reading about a kid who gets stuck on a raft with an adult and a cat named stew the way he got there is he hopped on a ship trying to get away from the bombings but then the ship he was in got bombed and he passed out due to hitting his head-on.

Schooner boat

Hello, bloggers today I have some information about a boat this boat is called a schooner and has a vessel with 2 or more mats in it. When on this boat you are most likely gonna encounter lots of fish, dolphins and maybe sharks this boat is made to go out far in the sea and could withstand a storm. The boat looks like it can hold up to seven people and a lot of supplies. The boat looks like it can raid villages and castles back in the medieval age. U -Boat German submarine

 Hello bloggers today I have done some research on a boat called the U-Boat it is a submarine built by germans on 28 July 1914 and here are three facts to go with it
1.Hms pathfinder was the first ship sunk by a U-Boat

2.12,850,815 tons of shipping was sunk by a U-Boat

3.178 U-Boats were sunk in combat

Energy Transformation

 Hello, bloggers today in bio we are learning about 8 types of energy the 8 energy is kinetic, heat, chemical potential, light, gravitational, elastic potential, electrical, and sound energy is passed on from one type to another.

Kinetic-energy which the body possesses by virtue of being in motion

Heat-temperature giving energy hot=lots cold=not a lot 

 Chemical potential-food and fuel

 Light-Sound waves/light waves 

Gravitational-effect of gravity pushing down

Elastic potential- something that stretches to load up energy

Electrical- anything involving power

Sound- waves can hear eg voice, vibration

For our expirment we had made marshmallow cannons in order to make it you need to have plastic cup and a ballon. First step is to cut a hole in the bottom of the cup once you have done that cup half way on a ballon when done you can procced to put the ballon on the cup.
What happen is we put the marshmallow in it a we pulled the ballon back which is called elastic energy when realse you have just realsed kinetic energy and when its in the air it is called gravitantion. That is what/happended when making the marsh mallow cannon hope you enjoy the blog post bye.

Politics

 Hello, bloggers today I have done some work in the social studies semester                     in this social studies we are learning about politics and things we should change to make the world a better place. The group I am in decided to learn about a few things like gender equality and want to make schools have more counseling and free lunches for all schools across New Zealand. The goal of this political group's project was to win people onto our side and make them vote for our group our goal was to make it short because the longer it is the less chance of you losing people's interest. We have been doing this for about 3-4 weeks on this project and I feel like we have persuaded a decent amount of people to vote for us.
