PROS
1.
Protecting our wildlife species
2. Helping animals in need
3. Being outside and having fun doing my job
CONS
1. Sometimes Danger in your work
2. Seeing animals die
3. people not looking after the islands

You have come up with some really thoughtful pros and cons to being a DOC ranger. Would you like to do the job? I think I would like to do it for a while, though I would find it hard if the weather was really wet, windy and cold. I don't really like being outside when the weather is yucky!
However, it must be amazing to see some of the NZ native plants and animals that most people don't get to see. What do you think?
