Energy Transformation

 Hello, bloggers today in bio we are learning about 8 types of energy the 8 energy is kinetic, heat, chemical potential, light, gravitational, elastic potential, electrical, and sound energy is passed on from one type to another.

Kinetic-energy which the body possesses by virtue of being in motion

Heat-temperature giving energy hot=lots cold=not a lot 

 Chemical potential-food and fuel

 Light-Sound waves/light waves 

Gravitational-effect of gravity pushing down

Elastic potential- something that stretches to load up energy

Electrical- anything involving power

Sound- waves can hear eg voice, vibration

For our expirment we had made marshmallow cannons in order to make it you need to have plastic cup and a ballon. First step is to cut a hole in the bottom of the cup once you have done that cup half way on a ballon when done you can procced to put the ballon on the cup.
What happen is we put the marshmallow in it a we pulled the ballon back which is called elastic energy when realse you have just realsed kinetic energy and when its in the air it is called gravitantion. That is what/happended when making the marsh mallow cannon hope you enjoy the blog post bye.

Politics

 Hello, bloggers today I have done some work in the social studies semester                     in this social studies we are learning about politics and things we should change to make the world a better place. The group I am in decided to learn about a few things like gender equality and want to make schools have more counseling and free lunches for all schools across New Zealand. The goal of this political group's project was to win people onto our side and make them vote for our group our goal was to make it short because the longer it is the less chance of you losing people's interest. We have been doing this for about 3-4 weeks on this project and I feel like we have persuaded a decent amount of people to vote for us.

Heat transfer

Heat Transfer: moving heat from one place to another.

Conductor of heat is able to pass on heat from one thing to another.

Examples of a conductor
1. Like a heater the heat will pass on particles then all that hot air will release
2. A hot shower will transfer heat from the water to the skin

Insulator of heat is something that does not pass on heat

Examples of Insulator

1.  Pink bats hold hot air stoping it from leaving a home or etc
2. Rubber does not pass energy

Convection: heat transfer without contact hot air rises and cold air sinks

why does convection cause flammable stuff to float up? I think I because hot air less dense cold air more dense [heavy] which causes the hot air to float up but eventually, the hot air will turn cold and it will sink to the ground.

Week 9 Do Now

 Why public speaking is useful. I think public speaking Is a useful skill because this allows the person to speak to strangers more like if they messed a meal up or that it's not the thing they asked for also the more you do this the more used to it you will get and you'll get to the point where you will talk to anyone without being scared to talk.

What is Evaporation? -Liquid gas by heating up particles

What is condensing? gas-liquid by cooling down particles

What is distillation separates a solution using evaporating

For the experiment, we had to boil coke or coke zero the point of this was to boil it to get all the sugar in the beaker

is English the most important subject in school and why?

The idea why I think it's the most relevant topic because it allows everyone to learn the same language which makes learning easier to understand and helps the educators understand what your trying to do. I think English is an easy thing to learn but we should have this as a subject all the time.

Hi, bloggers today I am gonna discuss what I think Hornby would be in the year 2050. This means we will be talking about cars, fossil fuels, and the future ahead of us. So I think that the world would have run out of fuel which forces everyone to pay for electric cars. But I think we should put solar panels on cars and you can also have the option to save that energy or you can use it.
